The Device
The Device was an ancient weapon, built by the Hylden prior to their banishment from Nosgoth. Its purpose was destroy all creatures in the land except members of their race.

The Red Raven Pub
The Red Raven pub was located in the Lower City region of Meridian. It was fairly large, and a meeting place for the common people. Kain spoke to the Red Raven's Tapster when he was looking for the Cabal's Sanctuary.

Blue Lady Curios
Despite its unremarkable appearance, it held a great secret. Beneath the Blue Lady Curios shop was Sanctuary, the headquarters of the Cabal.

Freeport
Freeport was a costal settlement - as implied by the name - located to the west of Provance, and southwest of the Pillars. It was conquered by Kain's vampire army prior to his defeat outside Meridian.
