DARK CHRONICLE was originally established on the 6th of February 2002, not too long after Soul Reaver 2 was released. It was designed to hold a transcript of the Soul Reaver 2 dialogue, hence the site's name. It's grown a little since then.

This website is totally independent of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos, and is not endorsed by them. Legacy of Kain, and the related characters are trademarks of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos. This fan website does not generate profit or income of any kind, and makes no claims on the aforementioned trademarks. DARK CHRONICLE aims primarily to be a reference source for the multi-layered storyline of the series - a memory-jogger for veterans that hopefully makes the story more approachable for newcomers too. No images or written work was taken from other Legacy of Kain fan sites.

The 'Encyclopaedia Nosgothica' and all Legacy of Kain-related site content is based on a number of official sources, including www.legacyofkain.com , the Blood Omen FAQ on the Silicon Knights website, strategy guides, manuals, official FAQs, and the games themselves. Some of the quotes relating to Blood Omen and Soul Reaver were double-checked according to the dialogue transcripts at Nosgothic Realm .

Great care has been taken to make DARK CHRONICLE's information accurate, so if you have any disagreements or comments, please get in contact via email. I'm just a long-term fan of the Legacy of Kain series - nothing more - and DARK CHRONICLE inevitably reflects my interpretation of the games and official sources. This interpretation - for right or wrong - is no more valid than any other fan's, so it's nice to hear other peoples' views.
